Well I am now back in the UK after a bit of a disatrous start getting to Bulgaria.  I got to the airport with Callum's passport.  Coming back from Gib with him at halfterm, the friendly immigration said 'Out of the covers' and his went back into mine and mine into his.  Mine is usually in the purple cover and that's all that mattered to me but not to the girl at the checkin desk.

So got there a day late to the amusement of Suzi and took up residence this time in the house not the caravan and hot bedded with three cats.  They had it by day, me by night.  The caravan is now relegated to the barn and has been joined by another with resident squatter along with his 4 x 4.  Big barn.

Well I suppose OI ought to share the good news with you.  I am now the proud owner of three houses in Bulgaria.  Two in one plot of land and the other up in the mountains with stupendous panoramic views.  The all need love and attention but there again don't we all so I think it's about time to post a few pickies.  The lady in the photo on this page is my neighbour and I think she only speaks Turkish.  I went to viewe last week just before I came home and was approached by one of the villages who wanted to know what I was doing.  He informed me that the owners were in Turkey and I said that I had documents.  Now documents don't mean much to some people so I had to explain that my Bulgarian Leva were now in Turkey and that the two houses were mine.  He then repeated that the owner was in Turkey and I repeated that I had sent money to Turkey and that the houses were definately mine without he knew something that I didn't.  Eventually we agreed that for money I could have the houses and we walked the garden and he asked if all the garden was mine as well.  I confirmed this and he said 'Dobre'  and showed me the well in the garden.  I'm not sure if he intended throwing me to the bottom so I let him stand nearer and now it is known in the village that an Anglechanka has got the properties.  The one in the mountains I have only been to once but it's about two kilometres as the crow flies from one to the the other but via mountains and a river so I think I'll start at the higher property and give myself a few days to achieve it.  Now let's find some for some pickies.
